School year memories

The added presence of school buses on the roads this week brought to mind all the things that used to occupy my world as a youngster starting the new school year.  Best wishes to students everywhere as the academic year begins.

    Looking at this word collage brought back a ton of memories for me, Diane!

    My favorite thing about starting a new school year were the school supplies my mother would buy me, right before. OMG...I loved getting a new book bag, lunch box, pencil case, pencils, and sharpener. But the BEST thing was a new pencil eraser. OMG...I love the smell of a pencil eraser! And also, construction paper GLUE - HA!
